Have Love, Need Photos.

Happy couple in San FranciscoAs a San Francisco Photographer specializing in online dating photos, a big segment of my clientele are single professionals looking for love online. It‘s really rewarding to think that the photos we take that day may help them to attract the love of their life.

But what about the people who have already found that love? They need beautiful, flattering and natural photos, too.

I recently took some sweet, romantic and natural photos of a few couples and they were so pleased with the results. Whether it‘s for an engagement or an anniversary, or just because the time was right, it’s an honor to simply be the observer of these loving couples and give them some images that in turn become memories. Couples photos are a lovely way to remember and honor a magical time in the relationship.

5 Tips for Great Couples Photos

Location Matters– Find a setting that makes you feel inspired. I prefer natural settings in which my clients can feel at ease with themselves and their beautiful surroundings.

Your Photographer– Select a photographer that makes you feel comfortable. I really feel that comfort is the key to natural photography. If you feel great around the person on the other side of that camera, the pics will show that.

Share the Love– Bring stories about each other to the shoot. Before you arrive think about how you met, what you like to do together, your favorite parts about your partner. By sharing this energy during the shoot, your genuine emotion towards each other will come through. tips for being happy during a couples shoot

Looking Good– Put some thought into your look. Getting hair and makeup done before hand might be fun, but also put some thought into your fashion choices and how they will look together.

Arriving Up– Do something fun together before you arrive. Again, this will cause the glow of the positive energy between you to light up your shoot and you will love the results!
